This month’s HOG Recipient is Mr. Michael Pike. Michael lost his wife Lauren while she was giving birth to their second child.  On Friday, October 20th, 2017 heaven gained an angel. Lauren was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and influence on everyone’s life. When she walked into the room, you knew she was there. She could light up the room. Her faith and love for Jesus did not go unnoticed. She always put God first no matter the situation.

Lauren gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017. She developed complications and went to be with Jesus on Friday, October 20th, 2017. Her husband Michael, two year old son Liam, and newborn daughter Emma will need all the support they can get through this difficult time. Please consider donating to help Michael with this transition to a single dad with two little ones.

Lauren was a teacher in the Cobb County School system and was well loved by all her teachers and friends. Donations to HOG for the February, 2018 dinner will go into a love offering for Michael, Liam, and Emma Pike.
