Our Friend Chris was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma cancer on September 24th, 2015. Tests revealed cancer in his left arm from the wrist to the elbow. He completed his first round of radiation treatment on November 18th and will be monitoring for recurrence every 3 months.

Our Friend Chris was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma cancer on September 24th, 2015. Tests revealed cancer in his left arm from the wrist to the elbow. He completed his first round of radiation treatment on November 18th and will be monitoring for recurrence every 3 months. Chris and his family did not have health insurance until March 2016. Chris works full time at Petit Creek Farm and his wife Nicole had been a stay at home mother who is now working part time to help cover the bills. The family can use our support to cover ongoing costs.

Our Guest Speaker Caleb Jones is a native of Ringgold, Georgia. He graduated from Ringgold High School and continued his education on a baseball scholarship at Snead State Community College. He is married to his wife Caroline Jones. They have two young children, Nolan Jones and Sadie Jones. Caleb and his family are members of Parkway Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. There he surrendered his call to preach in December of 2014. His future plans are to finish a bachelors degree in Theology and a bachelors of Mathematics. Caleb has a desire and passion for reaching the younger generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Musical Guest Casey Brandon performed professionally with a trio from out of Arab, Alabama called Appointed. He sang lead and played the piano for them from 2001-2003 while they had a few songs on the charts and had 2 top 40 hits. The song most people remember is “Beautiful Days”, written by Tommy Swindle. He was part of the annual Gospel Music Convention in Fraserburgh, Scotland and has also performed live in front of 15,000 people on the main stage of the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. Though he’s been off the road for about 5 years, Casey continues to do solo work and is very active in his home church: Parkway Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
