The Story
Jason Uglow’s life story is one of bravery, love, and now, a fierce battle against ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). Born in Georgia in 1976, Jason served in the US Army before building a successful career in computer science. He and his wife Courtney, alongside their three children, have embraced life’s adventures through hiking, sports, and travel. However, in November 2021, their world was shaken when Jason began experiencing symptoms that led to an ALS diagnosis in February 2023.
ALS is a ruthless disease that gradually takes away the ability to move, speak, eat, and eventually breathe. Yet, in the face of this adversity, the Uglow family stands strong, cherishing each moment together and advocating for ALS awareness and research.
